Take off your mask

Now it is time to take off your mask. This means being completely honest with yourself. Not only do you need to be honest with yourself, you must also be honest with God. Being honest with God encompasses telling Him what is in your heart. And this does not mean telling Him all of the superficial stuff that you think you are supposed to say. This means telling Him how you really feel. And here's the thing--He already knows the pain is there, He just wants to help you heal from it. But He can't help you unless you open up to your true self. While we all have a rose-colored mirror that we use daily to evaluate ourselves, we must use the true-colored mirror when we are soul-searching within ourselves. Unmasking ourselves is the only way we can face the good, the bad, and the ugly. And no matter how ugly the ugly is, it is still a part of you. And guess what? God still loves you in spite of it.
