Day 91 - 1/8/19

I woke up at 2 am, and I could not go back to sleep. I’m trying to use this time to pray, but I also want to post a few blogs, so I’m preoccupied with that idea also. I think I got so far behind because of the challenges I had with dealing with my emotions in the earlier part of December. I’m feeling a whole lot better about everything now, but I still have some catching up to do. I opt to pray because I’m not sure that I have the mental capacity to write the blogs right now—because I’m actually sleepy, just not sleep.

At 9 am I am still awake, but sleep is starting to catch me. I’ve finished eating breakfast and taking meds, so I settle in for sleep. No pains or nausea at this time. Before I realize it, I doze off to sleep.

After a couple of hours, I wake up, and I try to move around a little. I’m feeling some twinges of pain, but nothing too intense. I take some nausea medication and eat lunch, then it’s back to sleep. I take note that the increase in fatigue is happening a day earlier.

This nap lasts for a shorter time period, and I wake up to more twinges of pain. Once I start moving around though, they go away again. I’m lucky to stay awake for a few hours before sleep overtakes me again. That is just enough time to eat dinner and take more nausea medication and steroids.
